A Chicago-area mom who made a Target run for diapers on Mother’s Day got a little surprise from a stranger during her shopping trip. Nicole was in the store when a young man she’d never met handed her a $200 Target gift card and told her he just “wanted to bless a mom on Mother’s Day with something unexpected.” The man is Manuel Franco, the 24-year-old guy from Wisconsin who recently won the $768-million Powerball jackpot. He’s on a mission to spread joy, and Nicole got to experience it.
With everything kind of going on in the world, and you just hear so much negative news, I really just wanted people to feel inspired and feel like you know, hey maybe I can do something too to spread that joy,” said Nicole Domitro.
