LISTEN: Woman Discovers Baby Left in Hot Car Outside Local Wegmans

It was hot around here this past weekend. In fact, it was above 80. So warm tat at one point I took my son outside to play and realized we aren't ready for this kind of heat LOL. Back inside to the AC we go.

It's super important, and most of us know this, on these hot days to never leave your pet in your car, as the temperature can rise quickly. This is a no brainer for leaving kids in your car.

One couple, from Cleveland, NY, allegedly didn't get the memo.

A couple was arrested outside the Wegmans in Cicero for leaving their baby inside a hot car. Police say the child was heard screaming in the parking lot by a man, who used a golf club to unlock the door. The 6-month-old was in there for about 20 minutes, but is OK. Travis and Renee LePage have been charged.

Not reported in this story was the woman who actually found the baby and called 911. I was lucky enough to speak with her this morning, which you can listen to right now, below, and on our iHeartRadio app, free anytime.
