Carli Lloyd is a member of the World Cup-winning USA soccer team, so you know she can kick, right? So she got invited to check out a joint Philadelphia Eagles/Baltimore Ravens workout and try out her kicking style on the ol' pigskin. The result - a 55 yard field goal, which is the kind regular NFL placekickers generally sweat at least a little bit before trying. Of course, it's different in pads and in front of a charging defense, but hasn't she already pretty much had that experience (except the pads). While I truly believe women's sports like soccer deserve equal pay at least with men who play professionally, Carli could definitely cash in if a team wanted to give her toe a try!
