You know the story of a sequel, right? If the first movie was a hit, so can the second (third, fourth, fifth, etc). So it's pretty common to see a "Name A Move" 2, which usually comes out somewhere between a year and 3 years after the original. Of course, some will take longer. But few will wait the 34 years between 1986's Top Gun and next year's Top Gun: Maverick. Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reprise their roles, but of course they're 34 years older too. It will make for a different but equally interesting experience. I feel the need...the need....for popcorn...
