Is Mariah Carey late to Halloween, or is everyone else simply early?
The icon shone a bright, belated spotlight on spooky season this year, sharing a late Halloween post to Instagram on Thursday (November 7) featuring a few festive snaps with her 13-year-old son, Moroccan.
The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" hitmaker turned back time to debut not one, but two epic costumes. The first costume featured in the series shows Carey in a flattering, leather cat suit complete with matching cat ears and full, curly locks. Carey posed aside a spooky ghost as she stunned the world with both a striking smile and her epic feline fit.
Other photos in the carousel depicts the mom-of-two with 1/2 of her twins (whom she shares with ex Nick Cannon) and a "loved one" (per People) dressed as Alvin and the Chipmunks! The adorable trio, each posing in colors associated with their chipmunk (Carey as Alvin, Moroccan as Simon, and the loved one as Theodore), donned cute chipmunk ears as they shut down spooky season in fitting attire.
Mariah and the Chipmunks enjoyed their evening at Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, partaking in a private tour.
