The much-anticipated holiday event, "Lights on the Lake," at Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpoo begins tonight. The event, which runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through January 13th, features a two-mile-long drive-thru show with over 600,000 lights. The event attracts over 40,000 vehicles each year, making it one of Central New York's favorite holiday traditions.
The show includes a variety of holiday displays, including a larger-than-life Land of Oz, a twinkling fantasy forest, holiday traditions, and a fairy tale magic grand finale. Visitors can enjoy their favorite sounds of the season by tuning in to Sunny 102.1, the official radio station of "Lights on the Lake."
Tickets for the event are not available at the gate and must be purchased in advance from the event's official website. Prices vary depending on the day of the week and the size of the vehicle, with special discounted rates available for charity nights. The event also offers group sale tickets for a minimum of 30 tickets.
In addition to the light show, the event also offers holiday collectibles, including a unique ornament featuring the event's displays, a comfortable beanie, and an LED light-up snowflake wand. These items can be purchased online and will be mailed to the provided address.
