Syracuse's Downtown Dining Weeks kicks off tomorrow (March 1) and runs through Friday, March 14. The event offers residents a chance to enjoy affordable dining experiences at various local restaurants. Participating eateries will serve two-course lunches for $15 or less and three-course dinners for $40 or less. According to the Downtown Committee of Syracuse, tax and gratuity are not included, and some restaurants may require reservations.
This annual event, now in its 21st year, is coordinated by the Downtown Committee of Syracuse in partnership with Visions Federal Credit Union. Initially held for one week in mid-February, it was extended to two weeks and moved to early March in 2022 to attract more customers during the slow winter season.
A wide range of dining options is available, from the Braised Short Ribs at The Tasting Room to Pollo Saltado at Inka’s Peruvian Restaurant. Other notable dishes include The Calabrian at Apizza Regionale and Cacio E Pepe at Abbiocco. For those with a sweet tooth, several sweets shops and bakeries are also participating, offering special deals.
