The highly anticipated concert featuring Billy Joel and Sting at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse has been postponed until April 10, 2026. This change is due to Billy Joel's recent medical condition, which requires surgery and a four-month recovery period, including physical therapy. Joel, 75, announced the postponement on Tuesday (March 11) via his Instagram, expressing his regret but emphasizing the importance of prioritizing his health. He assured fans that he is expected to make a full recovery and looks forward to resuming his tour.

The concert was originally part of Joel's 2025 tour, which has seen several dates rescheduled due to his health issues. According to the New York Post, the tour will resume at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025. All purchased tickets for the postponed shows, including the one at the JMA Wireless Dome, will remain valid for the new dates.

This postponement affects multiple shows, including those in Detroit, Toronto, Salt Lake City, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Charlotte, and Milwaukee. Joel's representatives have confirmed that all rescheduled dates have been set, with no further changes anticipated.

Fans of both Billy Joel and Sting are advised to hold onto their tickets as they will automatically be valid for the rescheduled concert dates. Joel expressed his gratitude for the fans' understanding and support during this time. The tour will feature several collaborations with other artists, including Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart, at various venues across the United States and beyond.
