Lake Jackson Mom Tackles Man Caught Peeking In Daughter's Window


You've probably heard about Lake Jackson mom Phyllis Pena by now, tackling a suspected peeping Tom as he tried to flee after getting caught looking in her teenage daughter's bedroom window. The video of the tackle (below) is fantastic and definitely worth checking out.

According to KPRC 2, Pena was coming home from the grocery store the morning of January 31 and saw a man peeking in her 15-year-old daughter's window. He ran off and Pena called the police. Officers found the suspect hiding nearby and he tried to run again, but he made the mistake of running right toward Phyllis Pena, who was outside at the time. She decided not to let him get away and moved in to take him down.

Pena describer her thought process as follows:

“First instinct was just to make sure he didn’t go any further...”

The suspect has been booked into jail and is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest and resisting arrest.

Phyllis Pena says that her kids are her life and she was just making to sure to protect them.
